Salah Bakr is currently the head of operations at PFI Asset management. Prior to joining PFI Asset Management, Salah Bakr worked with HC Securities & Investment for 21 years, last of which he held the position of vice president of the operations department. HC is considered one of the leading asset management companies in the field. Salah Bakr played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the firm’s operational process. His main responsibilities and duties were to oversee all trade processing, settlement and reconciliation of investment transactions, as well as ensure accurate and timely execution of trades and management of post trade activities.  He was overlooking seven mutual funds and a wide range of portfolios ranging from large government institutions, local corporates and foreign pension funds

Salah also served as Audit Manager for 4 years in the office of Dr. Hassan Abu Saada and Co., as well as the office of the Advisory Group, and was responsible for auditing both local and international companies during that period.

Salah received training on IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards ).

Salah holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Cairo University.
