Ghada Alkady joined PFI Asset Management in February 2024 and is taking a leading role in the startup of PFI asset management, the asset management arm of Post for investments with the aim of positing the company as one of the leading asset management firms in Egypt by providing innovative products addressing all client segments, as well as capitalizing on Egypt Post’s strong client base that is close to 24 million customers spread across all governance of Egypt
Alkady is considered a leading participant in establishing and growing the Asset Management Arm of Prime Group – “Prime Investments-Asset Management “since joining in 1996, bringing over 25 years of experience in the asset management field.
She has taken a leading role to position and brand Prime Asset Management (PAM) over the years as a strong brand and a leading asset management firm, extending its services to government authorities, pension plans, financial institutions, corporations, endowments, family foundations, and private high net worth clients, with total assets under management close to LE 9billion.
Over the years, she has successfully structured alternative investment products and witnessed the successful launch of 14 local mutual funds that include equity, Hybrid, Money market, Fixed income, Shari’ah compliant funds. Ghada Alkady has also managed to position Prime Asset Management as a leading asset manager among the largest government authorities in Egypt. She is a member of the Asset allocation Committee and is responsible for ensuring that all underlying investment strategies and the pre-set investment guidelines are implemented by the Asset Management Team.
Prior to joining Prime Investments-Asset Management, Ghada Alkady worked with the US AID privatization project as a senior consultant in the corporate valuation team valuing and pricing public entities. Alkady has started her career as a credit officer in the Egyptian American Bank (currently Credit Agricole Bank) as a credit officer.
Ghada Alkady sat on the board of Misr for Real Estate Development -Representing Misr Insurance.
Alkady graduated from the American University in Cairo holding a BA in Economics & Business Administration.
